Baadshah is an action movie with all commercial ingredients that impress the mass. Junior NTR’s stylish and electrifying performance is the main attraction in the film. Srinu Vaitla’s interesting narration, S Thaman’s rocking music, excellent picturisation, Gopimohan and Kona Venkat’s punch dialogues and funny one-lines, Brahmanandam and MS Narayana’s rib-tickling comedy, exotic locales, beautiful costumes and a few other things are its other highlights. The biggest drawback of the film is that a few dragging moments in the first half.
Brahmanandam makes an entry in the second half of the film and it appears as a sequel to his Padmasri part in Dookudu, he tries his level best to make people laugh, especially the lines on Chatrapathi and Sivaji, the parodies are humourous. This is the only part that keeps the second half alive, rest just pales away.
Without MS and Brahmi, Baadshah is a routine story. It is not enough if four scenes are good in a cinema. It doesn’t run if two songs click. Despite knowing where his flaws lie Vaitla tries gimmicks. Nothing much to talk about Thaman’s music here, it makes noise but the song disappears in it. Song should be in tandem with the literature but not with steps.

Baadshah is simply superb. Tarak’s costumes, dance, fights and acting are the big assets of the movie
Minus points: Average story i.e same story we have seen in Dookudu kinda movies.
